Dear Mechanicsburg Church of the Brethren, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your cards, prayers and good wishes.

They have helped me to keep in good spirits and have advanced my somewhat slow recovery.  Your support has meant a lot to my family.

The Knitting Group has donated the following items to Harrisburg Hospital:  9 baby afghans, 21 baby hats and 1 baby sweater.

We have also donated 7 sweaters, 10 hats, and 3 afghans to World Vision Knit for Kids.  Ladies knitting these items were

Kitty G, Carolyn L, Annette L, Dorrie S and Fran W.  Anyone interested in learning to knit or crochet to help these worthy charities,

please contact Fran W.  As stated before, yarn, patterns and needles are available.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Knitting Group which meets the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 1:00 in the church library.

May God bless everyone who uses their time and talent to supply these needed articles for babies and young children.
