  • September 11th -- "The Joy of Being Found" Nobody likes to admit that they’re lost.  Temporarily disoriented, maybe; but lost?  It is only when the overwhelming reality of being lost sets in, that a person can admit and face what such a thing means.  But what about the others who know that the one has gone missing?  How compelled are they to seek and find the one who is out of sight?  How much relief and joy is there for the seeker and the sought when the lost is found? Scripture Texts: Exodus 32:7-14; 1Timothy 1:12-17;       Luke 15:1-10

  • September 18th -- "Faithful with What You've Got" We could all imagine what we might do with a million dollars!  We could be generous!  We could be extravagant!  But would it be different?  Doesn’t what we do with what we have reflect our values as well as anything?  Jesus uses the example of a dishonest person of the world to point us toward our own challenge: to be faithful with what we’ve got; knowing that what is ultimately of value is not our bank account, but our relationship with God and each other. Scripture Texts: Amos 8:4-7; Luke 16:1-13

Church Announcements

  • DEACONS ON CALL Our deacon team is beginning a new service to the congregation. While we have ongoing deacon assignments for our senior citizens and those with special needs, this “on call” service is available to the whole congregation.  Consider this as a supplement and support to the pastoral care that our Pastor provides.  If you have a crisis, or compelling need, know that one of the deacons will be on call.  Here is the upcoming schedule for our “deacons on call”:    Deacons on Call:  Brian & Krista P. Sept. 25th - October 8th

  • Youth Coordinator Search underway…             As we now move forward with a renewed search for a Youth Coordinator, we will be extending our search beyond our congregation.              That likely means contacts with regional colleges and the broader circle of our district.               We are currently in the process of finalizing publicity for that search.              If you know of persons who might have both the skills and the interest in this ministry, please contact Pastor Del or Cindy T.               We thank John-Michael for agreeing to continue to work with our youth on an interim basis as we move into the fall.              Please be in prayer that we may find a fitting person to lead our youth ministry.
