  • Deacon(s) On Call:

Our deacon team is beginning a new service to the congregation.
While we have ongoing deacon assignments for our senior citizens and those
with special needs, this “on call” service is available to the whole congregation.
Consider this as a supplement and support to the pastoral care that our Pastor provides.
If you have a crisis, or compelling need, know that one of the deacons will be on call.

 Upcoming Sunday Messages:

  • June 16th: "Access to the Divine" (Trinity Sunday) <Pastor Del>     (Our VBS Children will Sing in the 10:30am Service) Worship Theme: While the historical conversations about the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) can make our heads spin, it can be helpful to think about the ways by which we experience God’s “accessibility” in our lives.  Far from having God at our “beck and call”, the Trinity reminds us of God’s love embodied and poured out to inspire and propel us in the world. Scripture texts: John 16:12-15; Romans 5:1-5

  • June 23rd: "What's a Life Worth?" (Teacher Appreciation) <Pastor Del> Worship Theme: The account of the man whose legion of “possessors” is sent into the herd of swine by Jesus is an unsettling one.  What if they were your pigs?  What cost would you consider acceptable for the healing and cleansing of one among you who needed to be whole? In a time when we debate what a life is worth, we are challenged by Jesus’ words and actions toward this man. Scripture texts:   Psalm 22:19-28; Luke 8:26-39

  • June 30th: "Using your Freedom" <Pastor Del> Worship Theme: In a culture where freedom equates with independence, how is the promise of freedom in Christ to be lived out? The Galatians text for this morning challenges us to seriously consider how we use our “freedom” as those who have set free in Christ.  Scripture texts:   Galatians 5:1, 13-25; Luke 9:51-62
