Home Communion available

Pastor Del will provide home communion for those who have special needs or are requesting it.
Please contact him to arrange a time, or make him aware of requests.

Deacon(s) On Call:

Our deacon team is beginning a new service to the congregation.
While we have ongoing deacon assignments for our senior citizens and those
with special needs, this “on call” service is available to the whole congregation.

Consider this as a supplement and support to the pastoral care that our Pastor provides.
If you have a crisis, or compelling need, know that one of the deacons will be on call.

 Upcoming Sunday Messages:

  • November 4th -- "Prophetic Generosity"     Worship Theme: The story of the widow who gives all she has is a profound testimony of giving.  But is there more that Jesus would have us see beyond her remarkable commitment?  Is she the evidence of her community’s real spirit of generosity, or its lack?  As we explore this text, let us consider what one such as she reveals about the faith of those around her!      Scripture Texts: Psalm 119:1-8, Mark 12:38-44, Deuteronomy 6:1-9

  • November 11th -- "Abundant Life in Jesus" [Fall Youth] (Combined Service) Worship Theme: The theme for National Junior High Sunday is “Abundant Life in Jesus” based on John 10:10.  Our full youth group will be leading us in our combined worship in the Fellowship Hall for this service.      Scripture Texts: John 10:10, et al.

  • November 18th -- "Provoked for Good" Worship Theme:  Ever been provoked?  While we usually think of that word in terms of things that irritate us, at the heart of this word is the power to get us to “DO something”.  Can you imagine that we can be provoked for good?  For love?  For Jesus’ sake?      Scripture Texts: Hebrews 10:19-25; I Samuel 1:4-20

  • November 25th -- "A Different Kind of King" Worship Theme: Just before Advent, it may seem strange to consider a text near the end of the gospel story, with Jesus before Pilate.  In some ways, it’s easier for us to be caught up in the birth stories that prophetically describe Jesus as king of his people.  But this morning’s text reminds us that this is no ordinary king or kingdom we serve.  He is a king worth waiting for! Scripture Texts:  John 18:33-37; Revelation 1:4b-8
