Special Note on the Church Picnic Worship:

The Worship & Picnic have been moved to Fellowship Hall this Sunday.
If you were not signed up and want to Join Us, simply call the Church Office @ 717-766-8880.

Deacon(s) On Call:

Our deacon team is beginning a new service to the congregation.
While we have ongoing deacon assignments for our senior citizens and those
with special needs, this “on call” service is available to the whole congregation.

Consider this as a supplement and support to the pastoral care that our Pastor provides.
If you have a crisis, or compelling need, know that one of the deacons will be on call.

 Upcoming Sunday Messages:

  • September 16th -- "What Does Your Talk Teach?" (Worship in Fellowship Hall)      Combined worship at 10:30) Worship Theme:  What do your words “teach”?  James reminds us that the tongue that shapes our words can curse or bless, and that too often it can be used to wound and tear down others.                              Our call as followers of Jesus is to bless and to build up one another!      Scripture Texts:  James 3:1-12; Isaiah 50:4-9a

  • September 30th -- "Words that Save and Heal" Worship Theme: While we use the words of James chapter five as our guide for anointing, they are also a reminder of the good work that words can do for and in the lives of others.  How do we choose words that bring healing in those we serve?      Scripture Texts: Mark 9:38-50; James 5:13-20      An opportunity for anointing will be provided in both services.
