  • December 4th -- Advent Sunday #2 -- Children's Musical & Worship Our children will bring the “message” of the morning, as they present the birth of Jesus through some interesting characters…and sheep!  Join us in the fellowship hall for this special worship and presentation of “All About That Baby”

  • December 11th -- Advent Sunday #3 -- Choir Contata: "Bethlehem's Child" Using a blend of original and familiar music, church musicians Lloyd L. and Victor J. collaborate on this telling of the Christmas story from the vantage point that God's ways are not typically our ways.  We invite you to join us in worship for this presentation by our Chancel Choir, under the direction of Larry L.

  • December 18th -- Advent Sunday #4 -- "...In This Way" Matthew’s telling of the circumstances around the birth of Jesus may surprise us when extracted from Luke’s angelic proclamations and stable imagery.  It is a story easily misunderstood; both then and now. Joseph imagines a compassionate way to do damage control in the wake of this pregnancy.  Yet, what he imagined to be a mistake or worse, was truly a testimony of God’s intent.  Why is it that God chooses to enter the world “in this way”? Scripture Texts: Matthew 1:18-25

  • NOTICE: Zumba Classes at MCOB conclude in December! The last Zumba class will be Thursday, December 15, 2016. Here is a note of explanation from Dianne D. who hosted these sessions:   “It has been a very difficult decision.  I love what I do and that I can make a positive difference in someone's life.  I am sad, but do believe it is the right time.  Thank you for allowing me to use such a beautiful facility to hold classes. There have been many smiles and laughs shared as we pursued our journey to health and fitness together.”                                              -Dianne D.
