 Upcoming Sunday Messages:

  • July 24th -- "Nailed to the Cross" What was nailed to the cross?  Paul’s imagery stretches the scene of Jesus’ crucifixion to describe its meaning for us.  In the image of the courtroom, he describes the record of our trespasses as being erased when it was “nailed to the cross”.   What happened there was not just the death of our Lord, but the destruction of the record of our sin!  Scripture Texts:Colossians 2:6-19; Luke 11:1-13

  • July 31st -- "Bigger Barns" or "The Shape of Our Stuff" Stuff dictates storage.  Having it requires a place to put it.  How and where we store our stuff suggests something of the value we place in it. Where do you store your “stuff”?  And what is the stuff that you are collecting?  Will it have value?  Will it save you?  Both of today’s texts challenge us to seriously consider the shape that our stuff gives to our lives, and the illusory trust that we place in it.Scripture Texts: Colossians 3:1-11; Luke 12:13-21
