Understanding and Applying Enzyme Catalysis
The Toney lab in the Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Davis is involved in a variety of biophysical and bioorganic studies. The central theme is understanding how enzymes catalyze biological reactions by factors of 1020 fold or more. The work in the lab is split approximately evenly between basic science and applied science/engineering efforts.
