Today's activity:
A little inspiration for advisory today!

3 As of Awesome (18 minute video)   (Here is a link to the video)

Please share this Intro to Video:
Neil Pasricha uses the power of blogging to spread a little optimism each day about the awesome things that make life worth living.
Neil started his blog 1000 Awesome Things, as a small reminder — in a world of rising sea levels, global conflict, and a troubled economy — of the free, easy little joys that make life sweet.

Follow up/Discussion activities

1. With a partner or as a whole group:
What are the little things in life that make you happy?  (Advisor could start by sharing a few things)
Come up with a list on the board.

2. If students are interested you may share some from Neil's list:
The top 1000 things   from Neil Pesricha's Blog

3.  A thought with which to walk out the door:
In the video, Rosie Greer tapped into his deep authentic self and pursued a passion despite ridicule from others.
What about you?  Is there a passion you might not be pursuing because of fear of what others might think?
