radicalisation

RadicalisationResearch.org
RadicalisationResearch.org aims to bring high-quality academic research to the attention of policy-makers, journalists and others who need accurate and timely information about this topic. It is funded by the Religion and Society Programme, which is a multi-million pound strategic research initiative funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). I edit, publicise and manage the site as well as providing a lot of the content.

The website was born out of a realisation of the need for the media and policy-makers to have timely access to high-quality academic research on the important yet controversial area of radicalisation and a frustration at the difficulties encountered in achieving this. The site features introductory articles to key subjects, often written by myself, expert articles authored by leading academics from across the world and an abundance of reviews of excellent research in the field.

To submit material to the site, or for more information, please visit the site or email me at m.d.francis(@removetheobfuscation)lancaster.ac.uk.
