IA Atlanta is a periodic, informal gathering/dinner/happy hour event for Atlanta-based information architects, interaction designers, and other user experience professionals.

What's Been Happening

• On Saturday, May 31, we held a 2008 IA Summit Redux Atlanta at Macquarium. We had a great turnout for a Saturday morning, and by all accounts so far, attendees enjoyed the event.
  
• A bunch of us went to Interaction 08 in Savannah. It was an amazing conference. Video of all presentations is available. The conference program page has descriptions of all presentations.
  
• Our 2007 meeting November 27 Cafe Intermezzo in Buckhead. We had a great turnout and met some great  new folks. Thanks to everyone for coming out!
  
• The CHI*Atlanta Happy Hour held on July 18 at Eclipse di Luna was great. Visit CHI*A at www.chia.org.
  
• Our May meeting happened at the Perimeter Taco Mac and was sponsored by OneSpring. (Thanks, OneSpring!)
  
• An ad hoc meeting for March 2007 took place at the IA Summit in Las Vegas, but we can't tell you what happened. (What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.)
  
• Our February 2007 happy hour took place at the Cafe Intermezzo in Buckhead. A good time was had by all!
