St. Francis Camp on the Lake is a great example of our ongoing commitment to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families and caregivers. Do you know a special individual who might enjoy at week at a summer camp geared to their unique abilities or a parent who could use a little a little time off to recenter themselves? We have the answer. | Our charitable mission;
to assist the intellectually disabled. Founded in 1904, the men and women of the Alhambra are
bonded thru Catholic faith, Christian values and a desire to assist the
less fortunate. We host field trips, boat rides, zoo trips, Alhambra day at the circus, picnics, Christmas parties, fishing outings, dinner dances, etc. and provide
scholarships to students pursuing careers teaching the cognitively
impaired. Alhambra Houses provide housing for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and St. Francis Camp on the Lake gives them an opportunity to experience a week at camp specifically geared towards their unique abilities. Join
us and be a part of a wonderful organization that is bonded in Catholic
faith and provides assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We
are men and women, young and old, clergy and lay person alike,

assist the intellectually disabled with a spirit of eternal hope
derived from our common foundations in Christ. Many of our members have
families, some are single, widowed or divorced but each is an instrument
of God’s peace bringing light to the world. There
are no expectations placed on our members. We understand how busy each
other's lives can be. Volunteer events, parties and fundraisers are
always in the works. When you feel you can spare a little time;
