The annual "Why Neuroscience?" event will be taking place
on Thursday, March 15th from 6:00pm-9:00pm in the Jeanne
Timmins auditorium at the Montreal Neurological Institute
(3801 rue University). Although the event is primarily focused
on introducing students to the realm of neuroscience, the talks
should be of interest to all! Several speakers have been invited
to discuss their research and why they love the field. Refreshments
will be served, and we hope to see you there!
This is a reminder that the auction is finishing tonight at midnight.
We will still be verifying accounts today, so it's not too late to participate.
This is your chance to get an MCAT course for cheap!
At long last, the McGill Neuroscience clothing has arrived!
If you ordered a hoodie, you can pick it up during office hours:
FRIDAY 11:30-1 and 3:30-5
The NUM office is located in 1B22, Burnside Basement.
Unfortunately, there was a manufacturing error with the sweatpants,
so those orders are still on the way!
Looking forward to seeing everyone rocking their gear and representing NSCI!
NUM will be holding their annual Wine and Cheese on November 8th at 6:30pm in Thomson House.
This is the perfect opportunity to get to know professors, ask any questions you may have,
and get informed about current research! Hope to see you all there!
Tickets will be sold the week of October 31 to Nov 4th
at the NUM office in Burnside Basement 1B22
from 11:30-1:30 M/W/F
and from 12:00-1:00 Tues/Thurs
Presale tickets will be $5, and then $8 at the door.
