Sugar Cookie Mix

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Cups Flour

3/4 Cup White Sugar

1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder

1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda

1/2 teaspoon Salt

Mix together and store in a quart size ziplock bag. Write instructions on the bag to add: 1 Stick Softened Butter, 1 Large Egg, 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract. Mix & Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes.

Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix (Copycat)

1.5 cups Flour

1/2 cup butter

1 egg

>1/2 cups sugar

<1 teaspoons vanilla

1 teaspoon almond essence

3/4 teaspoons baking soda

3/4 teaspoons baking powder

3/4 teaspoons salt

.6 teaspoon cream of tartar

1 Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

2 In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder, and salt.

3 Gradually mix dry ingredients into the butter/sugar mixture and stir until incorporated (can be done by hand, but I use a stand mixer).

4 Cover with plastic wrap and let chill in fridge until cold (approx. 1 hour).

5 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

6 Roll out dough and use as needed
