Ingredients:
1 1/2 - 2 cups fresh cranberries
1.5 cups Flour
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
>1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoons vanilla
rind of 1 orange
1 tsp lemon juice
1 teaspoon orange essence
2 teaspoons rose water
3/4 teaspoons baking soda
3/4 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoons salt
.6 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
2. Add lemon juice, orange rind and rose water
3 In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
4 Gradually mix dry ingredients into the butter/sugar mixture and stir until incorporated (can be done by hand, but I use a stand mixer).
5 Fold in cranberries
5 Cover with plastic wrap and let chill in fridge until cold (approx. 1 hour).
5 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
