Ingredients
500g clams
2 large onions, finely sliced
1 large tomato, finely chopped
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 green chillies, slit lengthwise
1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1½ tsp sugar
1 tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
How to do it:
In a pan, heat a little oil. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies. Once it begins to turn brown in colour, add the onions and fry until translucent.
Add in the tomatoes and cook until the oil separates.
Add in all the spices, salt, and sugar along with the clams. Mix well. Cover and cook.
When done, add in vinegar and lemon juice. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve over pasta
