How is a student identified as "gifted"?

A parent, teacher or child may nominate for gifted testing. The state and district evaluate students for giftedness in three areas; verbal, non-verbal and quantitative. For more information on gifted nominations or testing, contact the School Psychologist, 304.436.8441(Ext 263).
