OPI Assessment Conference

Traffic Education Conference

In these sessions, we will present information about the Montana Common Core Standards for  Literacy in Science, Social Studies/History and Technical Subjects.  We will address ways to engage content area teachers in these standards as schools implement the Montana Common Core Standards.

This site will be used to organize information presented in sessions and provide a convenient way for participants to share information with colleagues.  The site will be available as a continuously accessible resource.  We invite you to share this site and contribute to it with your comments and discussion.

Please contact Chris or Colet to request permission to edit the site so that you can post to the discussion/use comments.

3 Take Aways
1. Make sure your content area teachers know the standards

2. There are lots of resources available, you don't need to reinvent the wheel

3. Not only is there enough time to do this, but it will make your instruction richer and deepen student learning
