MCC Athletics Drug Screening
All pre-participation physical exams beginning with the 2010/2011 academic school year must include a 10-panel drug screen as part of the exam. This drug screening is the student athlete’s responsibility. The following drugs will be screened and identified:
* Mesa Community College athletes are provided a discount at Concentra Medical Centers. The closest location is at 1710 West Southern Avenue, Mesa - (480) 644-7900. The cost is $38.00 for MCC student-athletes. You must inform Concentra you are with Mesa Community College-Sports to receive this price. (All Concentra medical centers in Phoenix area will honor this price.)
*East Valley Vaccination and Examination Clinic (located at 110 S. Mesa Dr. #2, Mesa, AZ 85210) offers drug screening for $25. Results from EVVAX will be sent electronically to the athletic training staff.
You may utilize a drug screening lab of their choice, but the results must be securely delivered directly from the drug testing lab to the Mesa Community College Head Athletic Trainer. Personal submission of drug screen results by the student athlete is not permitted. The student athlete is responsible for all expenses relating to the drug screen.
Mesa Community College Athletic Training has a secure password protected account with Concentra Medical Center. All other drug screening facilities are to send secure results directly to:
