I am currently a PhD student in the lab of David H. Wise in the Biological Sciences department at the University of Illinois at Chicago. My current interest is in studying the ecology of leaf litter arthropods in woodland ecosystems. As a part of the Chicago Wilderness's 100 Years for 100 Sites Project, I am presently investigating the impact that management history has on the leaf litter arthropod community.
I also have a developing interest in predator-prey interactions and their impact in food web structure and community dynamics. Conservation biology is a general interest of mine as well.
