Campinas - SP, Brazil

Prof. Marcelo Becker (D.Sc.)

Campinas is one of the most important cities in São Paulo State. I lived 6 years in this charming city while I got my M.Sc. and D.Sc. degrees at Unicamp (State University of Campinas). It has more than one million inhabitants, several universities, industries, and the largest shopping mall in Latin America. It is less than 95 km from São Paulo and has an exciting cultural and social life.

Jokey Club, Unicamp University main entrance, and violet Ipê trees in the streets of Campinas.
