Cruise Control Amplifier and Coding Plug.


These amplifiers showed up around 1987. Previously Mercedes had been using a number of different amplifiers for the various models. The switch to this unit allowed Mercedes to use one amplifier across all models and just have different plugs for a certain model.

Cruise Control Amplifier and Coding Plug.


These amplifiers showed up around 1990 and was used mostly one the early r129 SL's.

It is electrically identical to the 005 series of cruise units. It has a sealed plastic housing as these units are installed inside the engine bay as opposed to the 005s which are in the cabin.
