Some of you might know me from some of the online Mercedes enthusiasts forums, I'm JamesDean on PeachParts, BenzWorld, or 190Rev.
For almost over two years now, I have been repairing cruise control modules for these cars. I've done over 350 units now and I have shipped many units across the US and even internationally.
These cruise control units are for the 1981-1995 era cruise control system fitted on most Mercedes of the era. These are the 14-pin type that use an actuator to engage the throttle. See the application guide for more information.
There is another type of cruise control, a 10-pin vacuum type system. This was fitted on 1980 and earlier cars. I have started repairing these units have met with much success. I perform these repairs at a discounted rate when compared to my normal 14-pin units as I do not presently have a testing bench designed for them. So I perform the standard repair work and only charge a fraction of my normal price. So far, every one that I've repaired has worked excellently. If you are interested in this, please feel free to drop me an email and we can work out the details!
I also offer a number of other services and if I don't have something listed below, just drop me an email. I've worked on quite a few pieces of electronics from these era cars and would be happy to look at whatever you've got!
As far as shipping goes, I use USPS flat rate boxes for most of my shipments. They are very affordable on shipping. If you've any questions concerning shipping just let me know.
