About Me

I have over 20 years' experience working in the social care sector with single parents, people with mental health problems, people with substance misuse problems, offenders, students, young people ages 3-17, including Looked After Children.

I have worked in Student Support in Cardiff University, as a substance misuse counsellor in a secure Psychiatric unit and as a school counsellor for the past 6 years with services in Newport and Torfaen. 
In addition, I'm qualified as a clinical supervisor, training at the University of South Wales

I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work to their ethical framework and practice guidelines. 
I have an enhanced DBS check.
