- A Buddhist Education Program for Parents and Children -
 
The Midwest - Minnesota Buddhist Association Family Program is a Buddhist religious program for parents and children to participate in together. It is part of the Midwest - Minnesota Buddhist Association (MBA), a Chinese Buddhist group http://amtb-mba.org/  serving the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. 

POTLUCKS: All meals held at the Midwest - Minnesota Buddhist Association are vegetarian. 
 
IMPORTANT LIABILITY NOTICE: All Midwest – Minnesota Buddhist Association Family Program planning, teaching and leading is done by unpaid volunteers. It is a condition of participation in this volunteer-led, totally free program,  that each adult participant, and each non-participating parent or guardian of an unaccompanied minor participant, retains and accepts all responsibility and liability for his/her own safety and that of his/her child(ren), and tacitly agrees, as indicated by his/her participation, or that of his/her children, to not hold the Midwest - Minnesota Buddhist Association or any volunteer leader or teacher liable for any unintentional harm to the participant or to the participant's child(ren). All children younger than 13 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who stays on the premises and oversees the child's behavior and safety. Minors, aged 13 through 18, may participate without an accompanying parent or guardian, so long as mutually satisfactory prior arrangements have been made between one of the minor’s parents or guardians and one of the program’s volunteer leaders who will be in attendance that day. Under no circumstance shall such prior arrangement be construed to have transferred any liability to the Midwest – Minnesota Buddhist Association or to any volunteer leader or teacher.
