lib-web-cats (library web sites and catalogs) is a directory of libraries worldwide. While the majority of the current listings are in North America, the numbers of libraries represented in other parts of the globe is growing. Each listing includes links to the library's website and online catalog. Other information available includes the geographic location, address, library type, and the size of the library's collection.
MassCat is a library catalog of holdings from school, medical, law, special, and a few public libraries. You can find some very unique items through this catalog such as sheet music from obscure composers and building code requirements for all kinds of structures. While the very unique items cannot often be checked out, MassCat encourages you to make an appointment with the library in question for viewing.
