HippoCampus was established by the Monterrey Institute for Technology and Innovation to provide "high-quality, multimedia content on general education subjects." This content is appropriate for high school and college students and is available for free.
Created by Purdue University this website offers a wealth of information on writing for those in grades 7, up to professional writers.
