Hello to all my Maynard High School classmates!

Married to my wife Vicky for 43 years, we have two children – daughter Jolene lives in Castle Pines, Colorado and works for ESPN; son Micah is an electrician and solar specialist for E-Lite Corporation and lives in Morrison, Colorado. Jolene and her husband Keith Richardson have a 20-month old son, Cole, and are expecting a baby daughter about two weeks after the reunion. Micah and his wife Stacy have a nine year old son, Cody, and a 3-year old son, Brandon.

I retired in 2006 from the Montana Fish & Game Department after 31 years of fun and excitement. You just haven’t lived until you tackle elk and count bear poop for a living! Since then, I spend my falls and winters hunting and occasional guiding on hunts, and summers cutting grass at my alma Mata, Montana State University – the scenery around campus and the athletics fields with female sunbathers ain’t half bad!

I do the outdoorsy type stuff the rest of the year, working in as many trips as possible to Colorado to visit kids and grandkids. We will be moving to Colorado in about a year to be closer to them, but we’ll really miss Montana.

Vicky is still working as an accountant at MSU and in her “spare” time makes quilts and collects, breeds, raises, and trains Bernese Mountain Dogs for show, agility, drafting, tracking, obedience, and volunteer pet therapy work, which keeps her very busy. We have five of these big hairy speedbumps living with us in the house -- that’s a lot of dog food and poop (not to mention dog hair)!! I still have hound dogs (two at the present time) for hunting mountain lions, bobcats and raccoons.

Travel is usually separate -- Vicky to dog shows and trials around the northwest (although she’s also managed to make it to Wisconsin, California, West Virginia, and Rhode Island for BMD specialties) and I go to eastern Montana for paddlefishing and to Texas often for fishing in the Gulf of Mexico and hunting wild hogs. I keep thinking I should get more into fly fishing as we live in the best trout fishing areas in the world. Together we managed to visit Hawaii, Disney World in Florida, and Maynard occasionally.

See you all in September!
