Hi to all my classmates,

Fifty years since we left Maynard High......WOW! After graduation I felt so lost and couldn't imagine what the years ahead would bring without the people I'd grown up with all going off in different directions to pursue their dreams. But life moves on and I'd like to think we've all managed pretty well and I've looked forward to each of our reunions to renew the old friendships of so many years ago.

So a quick review of the past. My first real job was at Digital, a "little" computer company that was just starting out (who knew!) Lynn & I began there together as novices working with computers. Remember trying to keep track of all those keypunch cards and trying to wire all those boards, Lynn?! Well, I ended up working there for over 30 years before being laid off. Then on to Fidelity Investments (another lay-off) and then a dream job in Natick for a group of attorneys. During this time, Jim and I married (47 yrs.) and had two children. Scott & his wife live in Florida where he is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service and my daughter Sharon & her husband live in Leominster and she is the HR coordinator for a software training company in Westborough.

Jim & I are both fully retired now. In 2005 we made a decision to move out of Maynard to Cape Cod. We're just a "stones throw" from the beach and love the weather & life style it brings. We spend as much time as we can out doors, working around the yard & garden and taking walks on the beach & biking along the canal. We still like to do a lot of traveling. Yearly trips to Florida, and different parts of the U.S. & Europe. We have a Baltic cruise scheduled just a few weeks before the reunion and are looking forward to both. Hope to see you all then, so we can make this the best reunion yet!
