50 years!!! Where did they go? Remember our class trip to Washington,D.C.? We've been back twice and am always moved by its beauty. John and I have been together for fifty years also. Two dating and 48 married!!! We've been very blessed with three wonderful grown children, and now a son-in-law and daughter-in-law, all of whom we are so proud of. And now there are four beautiful grandkids, 2 here and 2 in Virginia.

We are still sailing on the coast of Maine (or having cocktail parties on the mooring] in Biddeford Pool Harbor under Wood Island Light---best sunsets and sunrises anywhere. We also now enjoy hiking the local conservation lands and the Assabet Area that that was given back to us all to enjoy(the old Ammunition Dump). We could all do a hike for the reunion weekend. We took a great trip to Sanibel Island in Florida ...the birds were amazing at the Ding Darling Nature Preserve and the shells were the best I've ever seen!

We go to Virginia every year as our son Steve and family live in Williamsburg now. We have done Jamestown and Yorktown and of course Colonial Willamsburg. The Norfold Botanial Garden is incredible also as is the Zoo and VA Beach Aquarium. Great area to visit.

We certainly are looking forward to September and seeing our old friends and classmates! What a greast childhood we had in our little MillTown,Maynard!

I loved the music with Mr.G the most! How proud we were of our band, glee club, music festivals , and football games at half time!!

They are dedicating a Bridge to Mr.G and his wife,Elaine,in Boxborough this year , so maybe we can all go while we are there.

See you all at the reunion in September!

Fondly Betty Tompkins Lowe
