It doesn’t seem possible that we graduated 50 years ago. Where did those 50 years go? I transferred to Tampa with Digital in 1990 and laid off in 1994 after 25 years of service. I moved from Tampa to Oldsmar (just a little west of Tampa) in 1997.

I manage to stay very busy with water aerobics 2-3 times a week, sitting with a friend’s 88-year old mother once a week (I call it ‘senior sitting’), and taking advantage of classes at the senior center. And there is the occasional dog sitting for a neighbor and taking friends and neighbors to doctors and transporting friends to and from the airport. There is always a project or two that keeps me busy as well.

I love to go to art and craft shows, museums, attending concerts and plays, having breakfast at the beach and exploring new restaurants for lunch. There is a small, quaint restaurant named ‘The Taste of Boston’ that is on Tampa Bay that serves Ipswich whole belly clams where I get my fix every once in a while (reminds me of my trips to Woodman’s in Essex). I have a very active social life and am very blessed to have a wonderful circle of friends here.

Although I have traveled to Hawaii, Mexico and Canada (Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto) my travels in the past few years have been mostly here in Florida and a trip to Tucson, Arizona to visit my brother Paul a couple of years ago. I am looking forward to our 50th reunion and seeing you all in September.
