Celebration time is August 7th through the 9th, 2020.

The theme for 2020 is "Building for the Future".

This year's theme is an homage to the citizens of the Collins Maxwell School District for looking to the future and passing a bond issue that will help update the high school building.  This forward-thinking attitude is celebrated by this year's picnic.

Old Settlers has events and activities for people of all ages. Some examples are carnival rides, sanctioned rodeo and truck/tractor pulls, sand volleyball, softball/baseball, live music from local bands, good eats and drinks all weekend long.  Do not forget our very popular parade!  The activity events page is frequently updated as we receive commitments and the final copy will be published and available in early summer. Please visit our Flyer of Events page to keep updated on the changes.

Old Settlers has a rich history that dates back to the late 1800's.  It came into existence as an outgrowth of the reunions held by soldiers of the Civil War and members of the Grand Army of the Republic. You can see more details of the history on our history page.
