I'm a Cognitive Neuroscience researcher working at the Berlin School of Mind and Brain. I use electroencephalography, eye tracking, psychophysics and functional neuroimaging to study the multiple influences of context on perception and decision making.
Context is a broad term used in several domains, always referring to the circumstances in which a given event occurs. Context effects happen across scales and are nested within each other. This multiscale nature of contexts and how they interact with each other is poorly understood and a major interest of my research.
