Welcome to my personal website!
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich. Before coming to Munich I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Notre Dame. During the 2023/24 winter semester I was Acting Chair Professor at the Department of Economics of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich.
My research interests are at the intersection of empirical macroeconomics, public finance and international economics. Topics of my recent research include the effects of tariffs, wage setting, as well as economic forecasting.
Current projects:
``Wage Setting in Times of High and Low Inflation'' (with Isabel Gödl-Hanisch & Simon Velten) - latest version.
``Does Reputation Matter? An Evaluation of Professional Forecasts for Germany'' (with Franziska Strunz) - latest version.
``Tariffs as Fiscal Policy'' (with Johannes Pfeifer & Franziska Strunz) - draft coming soon!
