Biography

Maurizio Tinti was born in Bologna (Italy) 1 January 1964.
In 1982 he obtained, c/o Industrial Technical School Aldini Valeriani in Bologna (Italy), the diploma of qualified technician (major subjects: industrial electronics). Then he worked for Weber (now Magneti Marelli, FIAT group) as a technician collaborator attending to hardware research in the advanced engineering area. Since 1983 he has been working (after a six month training course) for SIP (now Telecom Italia) as a technician for special internal systems and he has been attending to telephone exchanges and special user devices. Successively he has been working as a chief systems technician attending to exercise networks and systems to data transmission. In 1984 he won a national competition as a reviser technician for the National Telephones State Board (now Telecom Italia). In 1992 he obtained a degree in electronic engineering c/o University of Bologna (Italy) and in 1993 he passed the qualifying examination for engineer. In 2001 he passed the teacher's diploma exam (subjects: electronics and physics). Since July 2000 he has been working as a  graduated technician for the Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering Department "Guglielmo Marconi" c/o University of Bologna (Italy) and in 2005 he has achieved, c/o the same University, the P.H.D. in Electronic, Computer Science and Telecommunication Engineering.
