Prof. Maurizio Mattesini

A few things about me

After completing public schooling in Empoli (Italy), I earned a M.S. (1998) from the University of Florence and Ph.D. (2001) in Physical-Chemistry of Condensed Matter from the University of Bordeaux I (ICMCB, France). Nowadays, I'm carrying out theoretical research on the Earth's Inner Core (and do some teaching) at the Department of Earth's Physics of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain).

I joined this department on November 2005 after having spent two years at the Uppsala University (Condensed Matter Theory Group) and two others at the Universidad Autonóma de Madrid (Departamento de Física de la Materia Condensada) as a postdoctoral fellow.
