Welcome to the Maumee City Schools LPDC website.  The purpose of this site is to provide Maumee City Schools certificated/licensed staff members with access to all of the procedures and materials that are needed to complete the LPDC process.  The LPDC does not handle Blue Sheet credit - contact Jason Dugan at  jdugan@maumeek12.org.

LPDC Committee meeting dates for the 2015-2016 school year are:

Wednesday, January 18, 2017        (Materials due to Jeff McIntire @ MHS by Wednesday, January 13, 2016)
Wednesday, March 15, 2017      
     (Materials due to Jeff McIntire @ MHS by Wednesday, March 9, 2016)
Wednesday, May 17, 2017           
   (Materials due to Jeff McIntire @ MHS by Wednesday, May 4, 2016)

All meetings are held in the Conference Room at Fairfield Elementary and are scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm

The LPDC Process: 

It is the responsibility of each staff member to be current with their LPDC materials.

1.  Have an approved Individualized Professional
     Development Plan (IPDP) on file with the LPDC.

2.  Attend college courses, workshops, and other
     professional development activities in order to renew
     your teaching certificate/license.  If using workshop
     credit, you will need to keep track of these activities on
     a log.  If using college coursework, please provide the
     LPDC committee with an official transcript.

3.  When renewing a certificate or license, complete a
     Final Requirement Checksheet and supply the
     documentation that supports the professional
     development that you are using to renew.

LPDC Committee:

The LPDC committee for the 2015-2016 school year consists of: 

Jeff McIntire, Chair, and high school member
Lisa Edelbrock, elementary member
Sandra Poto, middle school member
Michelle Shafer, administrative member
Nick Neiderhouse, administrative member. 

The LPDC committee meets four times each school year:  once in October; once in January; once in March; and once in May. 

It is not mandatory that a staff member with items under consideration by the committee to attend any of these meetings.
