Aloha! The 6-man sailing canoe, ‘Aukai O Maui, competes in the Hawaiian Sailing Canoe Association’s ( HSCA) racing series. The races link the Islands starting on the Big Island in May and ends on Kauai in September. Our six man canoe uses modern materials with traditional Hawaiian designs and techniques, trying to preserve a Hawaiian method of travel. We share this knowledge with rides and demonstrations.
We proudly represent Outrigger Ka'anapali Beach Resort, ( formally Ka'anapali Beach Hotel) and our home port is Kahului, Maui.
