2014 marks the 10th Anniversary of the Temple Isaiah Matzohball. The Matzohball Run is a family friendly 5K run and 1 mile run/walk Signature Event that is held at beautiful Centennial Park in Ellicott City. Whether you're an avid runner, a beginner, or just out for a stroll around Centennial Lake, the Matzohball Run is an event that appeals to people of all ages and experience levels.
In an effort to enhance our Social Action outreach and continue the tradition of Mitzvah and Tzedakah, a portion of the proceeds from this year's Event will be directed towards Temple Isaiah's Social Action Fund. The Social Action Fund helps fund and support our involvement with other organizations such as Grassroots and DreamBuilders.
Temple Isaiah members have donated numerous hours to outside organizations by sponsoring spaghetti dinners, working onsite to restore and build homes, donating food, and most recently hosting a cold weather shelter for the homeless. We are fortunate to be in a position where, as Temple members, we can focus our time and resources to help others and continue the tradition of Tikkum Olam and our commitment to Social Action.
Please mark your calendars for Sunday June 1, 2014 and come celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Matzohball 5k and 1Mile Fun Run. Additional information on sponsorship and sign-up opportunities will be forthcoming. In the meantime, if you are interested in learning how you can help support this worthwhile event, please contact Barry Dubin at firstname.lastname@example.org or Brian Jolles at email@example.com
Thank you in advance for your support and let's show the greater Howard County Community how Temple Isaiah's family joins together in support of Tikkum Olam!
