Welcome to my website! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Colgate University.

I am an applied microeconomist. My research is primarily focused in industrial organization, information economics, and economic analysis of law and regulation. I am especially interested in understanding how details of the design and implementation of mandatory disclosure policies affect their ability to regulate product quality, how compliance with law responds to changes in the presence or tactics of law enforcers, and how the severity of punishments prescribed for offenses affects the behavior of law enforcers.
