    Welcome to my website!

I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, having recently completed my PhD in Physics at the University of Maryland.  As a member of the Penn MRSEC, I study deformation of dense granular materials under the direction of Doug Durian.

For my PhD, I studied granular flows under the direction of Wolfgang Losert.  I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Applied Mathematics, Engineering, and Physics program.

My projects of interest include dynamics of amorphous systems, particularly granular materials, material failure, flows of heterogeneous granular materials and granular rotational motion.  For more information, check out the Research section.
