About me

I am a Project Manager at FBK.
I received my PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Trento, Italy, in 2006. In 2006-2007 I worked as a Post-doctoral Research Assistant at the Speech Analysis & Interpretation Laboratory, University of Southern California, leading USC activities in TBALL, a project on language skill evaluation for young children. In 2007-2010 I worked in the HLT group at Fondazione Bruno Kessler as a post-doctoral researcher on open-vocabulary speech recognition.
In march 2010 I joined the eGovernment group at FBK as a project manager. In past years I have been involved in several European Projects and I'm currently leading the effort of FBK and of the Province of Trento in the Italian National project PRODE. My interests include the application of ICT technologies to e-Government to promote innovative government-to-citizen services. I am actively engaged in the generation of new funding opportunities for the Foundation through the formulation of national and EU projects, often in close collaboration with the local Public Administration.
