Matteo Dusefante

About

I am currently a Senior Staff R&D Engineer at Synopsys working on advanced CAD software algorithms for the design of nano-scale microchips.

I am a former PhD candidate in the Algorithms Group at IT University of Copenhagen where I was supervised by Prof. Dr. Riko Jacob . I successfully defended my PhD Thesis entitled Sparse Matrix Multiplication Kernels on November 14th 2018.

I hold a MSc and a BSc in Computer Science from the Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics of the University of Udine.

Research

My research interests are within algorithms and data structures, algorithms in External Memory and Parallel External Memory, numerical and randomised algorithms. I am also interested in everything related with high performance computing.
