My research interest is Geometric Analysis and in particular the spaces with curvature constraints.
Gluing as in the above produces two different kinds of metric spaces.
One of them is "curvature bounded below", and the other is "curvature bounded above".
How to determine the types of the spaces based on the types of gluing?
