9.10 r1 (beta quality)
I haven't had any luck resolving any of the annoying issues caused by upstream changes not meshing well with LXDE and openbox. Unless that changes, Masonux 9.10 r1 will be the final 9.10-based release. 10.04 will hopefully not be so wonky. If the "Just Works" aspect is important to you, you probably want to use Masonux 9.04-20090821.Release notes and discussion

There is currently one bug that I am aware of. If you discover more, please let me know. My e-mail address is email@example.com.
I made a mistake with the repositories.
To correct the error, enter this in a terminal:
sudo leafpad /etc/apt/sources.list
Now, erase everything
there, and replace it with the following:
deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ jaunty main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ jaunty-security main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ jaunty-updates main restricted universe multiverse
sudo apt-get update
for changes to take effect.
Or, visit http://repogen.simplylinux.ch/
and create a custom repository with exactly what you want - including the use of repositories more local to you than the United States.
