Club meeting shall be held at Baldwin Hall, Friday night,  August 9, 2019 @ 1930 hours.

Club meetings are held at Baldwin Hall, 1358 Millersville Rd, Millersville, MD 21108.  It is a historic white building with a gravel parking lot located on the northwest corner of General’s Highway (MD Route 178) and Millersville Road.

Friday night's presentation shall be the Operation of Military Tactical Radio , presented by Frank (WA3NHK).

After the presentation, there shall be a break for light refreshments.

Then the general meeting.

There shall be a 50/50 drawing near the conclusion of the meeting  The winner will get half the "pot".

On Sunday, 16 June 2019, the Baltimore Amateur Radio Club will be Holding their Father's Day Hamfest and Marketplace at the Arcadia Carnival Grounds, 16020 Carnival Avenue, Upperco, MD 21155. It is with great sadness and sorrow to announce a silent key from the  Maryland Mobileers Amateur Radio Club.  

Russ Slye (N3GT) passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019. If you remember, his wife Doris, N3TGB recently passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019.

Viewings for Russ will be on Thursday, March 21st, 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Hardesty Funeral Home, 851 Annapolis Rd, Gambrills, MD 21054. The burial service will be held at 9:15 am, Friday, March 22nd at Our Lady of the Fields Roman Catholic Church, 1070 Cecil Avenue S., Millersville, MD 21108  

Flowers have been sent to the funeral home from the Maryland Mobileers Amateur Radio Club.

Both Russ and Doris will be greatly missed.

Maryland Mobileers general club meeting, February 8, 2019 at 1930 hours (7:30 PM).
Meeting will be held at held at  the main Baldwin Hall, 1358 Millersville Rd, Millersville, MD.  It is a historic white building with a gravel parking lot located on the northwest corner of General’s Highway (MD Route 178) and Millersville Road.  
Presentation will be by Mr. Jim Kremple, Outreach Director, Office of Emergency Management for Anne Arundel County.
As always, light refreshments will be served and the 50/50 drawing will be held after the meeting.

To join MMARC, fill out the membership form and mail or bring it to a meeting along with your check.  The same form is used for new members or renewals.  You must attend a meeting to join.

Club Meetings

MMARC meets at 7:30 PM at Baldwin Hall in Millersville on 2nd Fridays Jan - Nov.  Meetings are normally in the main building adjacent to the parking lot.  Sometimes we meet in the schoolhouse behind the main building.  Club meetings that will be in the schoolhouse instead of the main building are shown on the Meetings page.  Occasionally we take a field trip instead of conducting a regular meeting.  Past trips include the Radio & TV Museum in Bowie, AAC Fire 911 Center, and National Cryptologic Museum.  Our annual holiday party is in December at a restaurant in the area.  There is no regular club meeting or VE testing in December.  Refer to News and Upcoming Events above and the calendar for specific dates and events.  Please visit us at a meeting soon, visitors are always welcome.

Weekly Traffic and Information Net

Check in to the MMARC traffic and information net Monday nights at 7:30 PM on the 146.805- 107.2 repeater in Millersville.  You don't have to be a member to participate.  All hams are invited.
  Check in and bring a topic to discuss if you wish.  It doesn't have to be a ham-related or technical topic.
