Painting... and getting painted
In August 2010, Mary traveled to St. Lucia in the Eastern Caribbean with ten other missionaries. With the goal of renovating a Catholic church in the town of Desruisseaux, she lodged in a convent for ten nights and woke in the mornings to clean, paint, and remodel the church. While on the island, Mary was able to dive into the culture, learning new customs and ideas, making life-long friends, and touring the beautiful country.
