I am a PhD student and researcher in the division of infectious diseases and mathematical modeling. I work on modeling and cost-effectiveness studies of hepatitis C virus, under the supervision of Janne Estill and Olivia Keiser.
I have a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics (Operations Research) from Shiraz University in Iran. From 2014-2016, I was a Research Assistant in the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, where I worked on transmission models of Malaria, and on the cost-effectiveness of anti-malaria interventions. My interests include mathematical modeling of infectious disease, disease progression models, cost-effectiveness, and resource allocation.
