I am currently a fifth year Ph.D candidate in Economics at the University of Kentucky and have accepted a position at the University of Arizona as a Lecturer.

My research is primarily in the field of Labor Economics with a focus on the Economics of Education. I'm currently examining how students' expectations of completing college relate to post-secondary achievement. I am also analyzing how these expectations are formed when in high school and how they are updated upon graduation. I am also interested in Public Economics, Industrial Organization, and Behavioral Economics.

I have taught courses in Principles of Economics, Principles of Microeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics and Economics and Business Statistics. I've taught class at both the University of Kentucky and Transylvania University.
