The following quiz is something that we recommend that you print off and review over the holidays. We do not expect you to get every question correct. Indeed, you can read different situations into some of the questions which may result in slightly different answers. As with any part of the game, the basic laws are the same but there can always be mitigating circumstances that may allow slightly different interpretations of what happens and how the game restarts. Please find attached a little quiz on kick-off's that should get the brain thinking. For those of you still doing your apprenticeship with refereeing .... just think ..... you may be the only one on the pitch who knows what is acceptable, how to restart the game, what options are available and where to restart the game.
