I am principal investigator of two projects: (1) GENDEREDPSYCHE (ref PID2019-107445GB-I00) funded by the AEI, which analyses psychological mechanisms contributing to explain why women are more distant from the political realm than men from a comparative perspective and using an experimental approach; (2) GenYstereo funded by La Caixa flash's call FS22_1B, that aims at studying the extent to which young people in Spain conform to traditional gender stereotypes and their attitudinal and behavioural consequences.

I am also part of the team selected (in an open competition amongst European researchers) for the round 11 rotating module of the ESS entitled: Gender in contemporary Europe: Rethinking Equality and the Backlash (with Susan Banducci, Hilde Coffe, Jessica Fortin-Rittberger, and Amy Alexander). This module aims to explore attitudes towards feminine and masculine identities, sexism, gender discrimination and gender equality. This will be the most comprehensive battery of items on gender ever fielded in a cross-national survey, and the first ever all women team!

Finally, I am beneficiary of the project TWICEASGOOD: Twice as hard, half as good? Women's candidate experience of sexism on the campaign trail (ref. 101019284) directed by Susan Banducci where I am responsible of the Spanish case study.
