Welcome to my website! I'm Marta D'Elia and I am a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at the Center for Computing Research at Sandia National Laboratories, NM. I work in the Computational Multiscale department.

My current work deals with Nonlocal Problems, Machine Learning, Finite Element Methods, and Optimal Control and Transport. I am also interested in Uncertainty Quantification and Data Assimilation.

Until December 2013 I was a postdoctoral scholar at the Florida State University in the Scientific Computing department where I worked with Prof. M. Gunzburger. I graduated from the Emory University (Math&CS department) in applied Mathematics. There, I worked on optimal control for fluid dynamic applications under the supervision of Prof. A. Veneziani.
