June 16, 2015: The Thunderclap promotion campaign for Aliens Versus Zombies has now surpassed 3/4 of the required number for the campaign to go live. With 78 supporters, we need only another 22 to go live. The total social media reach of the campaign currently stands at more than 70,500 people. 

June 13, 2015: The Thunderclap promotion campaign for Aliens Versus Zombies has exceeded 2/3 of the required number for the campaign to go live. With 71 supporters, we need only another 29 to go live. The total social media reach of the campaign currently stands at more than 64,000 people. 

June 4, 2015: The Thunderclap promotion campaign for Aliens Versus Zombies is now up to 42 supporters; only another 58 to go. The total social media reach of the campaign currently stands at almost 42,000 people. 

June 2, 2015: The Thunderclap promotion campaign for Aliens Versus Zombies achieved a major milestone today, surpassing the 1/3 mark with 35 supporters (in four days). Only another 65 are needed before the end of the month. The total social media  "reach" of the campaign currently stands at over 38,700 people. We have a shot at reaching 100,000 people with this campaign!

May 24, 2015: The final draft of Aliens Versus Zombies is almost complete. I'm just awaiting comments from a few beta readers. The story is now up over 100,000 words. The book is still on schedule for a July release, probably early in the month.

May 18, 2015: I'm well into the second draft of Aliens Versus Zombie" 26 chapters down and 11 to go. I should be ready for beta readers by the weekend. I've never had a novel go so well, so quickly. It's amazing. :)

May 16, 2015: Dah-ta-dah!  Queue the fanfare! The first draft of Aliens Versus Zombies is complete. I wrote the last 4,500 words last night to cap it off at 98,500 words. I expect it to be close to 100,000 words after draft 2, where I fill in any gaps there might be (backstory, additional dialog, clarifications of anything confusing, etc.). It's still on schedule for a July release. More details to come. I expect the cover to be ready any time now.

May 14, 2015: I've made great progress on Aliens Versus Zombies. I'm nearly done with the first draft (94,000+ words so far). Maybe another two-to-three chapters to go. I also expect to have the finished cover in the next week or so.

May 11, 2015: I've been so busy working on Aliens Versus Zombies, I forgot to keep everyone posted on my progress. I'm nearly done with the first draft (84,000+ words so far). Maybe another five or six chapters to go. Then two more drafts: one to finish fleshing out the story/backstory and one for polish. I expect to have the book up on Amazon by July. (See the March 22 entry below, for a link to an excerpt.)

April 22, 2015: I need to pay more attention to this page. Oops! Anyway, I just hit 65,000 words in Aliens Versus Zombies, I love the way it's going so far.

March 28, 2015: I just hit 28,000 words in Aliens Versus Zombies, So far, so good.

March 21, 2015: Sometimes I hate myself. While still in the middle of writing Mooncrash: The Fall of MankindI had an idea for another novel. I couldn't shake the idea, so I started writing. I'm currently 15,000 words into Aliens Versus Zombies. Hmm. Don't know which of the two novels I'll finish first. It should be interesting.

February 17, 2015: Wow. I just realized how long it's been since my last post here. Mea culpa! Too many distractions. Between working on my new novel, promoting my current ones, taking a Caribbean Cruise, and everything else that's been going on, it completely slipped my mind. Sorry!. I'll post an excerpt from the first draft of the new novel very soon. The working title is Mooncrash: The Fall of Mankind.

October 15, 2014: I have contracted with talented voice actor Mark Westfield to produce an audiobook version of My Other car is a Spaceship. It should be ready in time for Christmas shopping.

August 5, 2014: It looks like I'll be going to Dragon Con in Atlanta at the end of the month (Aug 29-Sept 1) along with my wife and daughters. We'll all be wearing T-shirts with the covers of The Mars Imperative (TMI) and The Tesserene Imperative (TTI) on the front and back, respectively. With any luck, these "walking billboards" will generate some interest in the books. Go to my blog to see the T-shirt and one of the postcards I've ordered as handouts/leave-behinds. October 31, 2008: Good news! My editor (Melissa) at Red Rose Publishing started editing Sunrise Destiny last night. It's too soon yet to get a release date, but if the manuscript requires as little work as I think it will, I'm expecting sooner rather than later.

September 30, 2008: I've just been assigned an editor for my third sci-fi novel, Sunrise Destiny. So things are finally moving along. I'll post the release date as soon as one is assigned.

September 29, 2008: It looks like my story Fallen Star, Rising Star will appear in an anthology early next year. The anthology, The World Outside the Window, will be published by R. J. Buckley Publishing in early 2009.

September 24, 2008: I updated the current word count on the description page for AF: After the Fall of Man.

September 5, 2008: I don't seem to have the time I used to for writing, so my latest novel is progressing slowly. But at least it's progressing. I hope to have it done by the end of the year and ready to submit to a publisher.
