Reached #1 bestseller on the Amazon Top 100 list for Military SF in the U.S., #2 for First Contact, #3 for Space Fleet, and #4 for Space Opera. Also, #1 for Military SF in Australia#8 for sci-fi titles overall in India, and #11 for First Contact in the U.K.

My Other Car is a Spaceship, is meant to be a cross between space opera and military sci-fi.

The civilian Merchant's Unity polices the spaceways, keeping vicious pirates at bay. Few alien races, and even fewer individuals, possess the hypertasking gene necessary to pilot the Unit's ships. Because of this, and despite Earth being an embargoed world, retired fighter pilot Hal Nellis is recruited by the Unity to help in this war against piracy. But between the dynamic new leader of the pirates and political infighting among the member worlds of the Unity, it is being pushed to the brink of extinction.

A final showdown will determine the fate of the Unity. If the pirates win the battle, they will control the spaceways, allowing them to rob at will backward planets like Earth, and disrupt commerce all across the galaxy. It's a battle Hal and the Unity must win.

The story combines space battles and guerrilla action with wry humor.

(FYI, The inspiration for the title came from a bumper sticker I once saw: "My other car is the Starship Enterprise".)
