Mark Borghi Fine Art was founded in New York City in 1998. Its founder, Mark Borghi, subsequently opened a second gallery in Bridgehampton, New York, in 2004, which served as a summer outpost with the same program as its flagship location, and another in Palm Springs, Florida, in 2011.

The gallery program features exhibitions of contemporary art, boasting of pieces by Richard Prince, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Christopher Wool. Other highlights of its collection include exhibitions dedicated to the history of The New York School, Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art, with the earlier works of Hans Hofmann, Roy Lichtenstein and Willem de Kooning taking pride of place.

The third gallery's flagship exhibition was “Larry Poons Recent Works,” and was followed by works from notables like Yves Klein, Andy Warhol, Joan Mitchell, and Jackson Pollock.
